While the Blue Angels cruised the skies for The Great State of Maine Air Show in 2020, it was recently announced that the event's 2024 return would bring the Thunderbirds to showcase their high-flying acrobatics.

The Thunderbirds last performed in Brunswick for the air show in 2012. That's 12 years ago!

Well, now, the first slate of performers to join the main event has been revealed.

According to a press release from The Great State of Maine Air Show, here are the six other featured performers besides the Thunderbirds:

The Great State of Maine Air Show does note that more performers are expected to be announced and to check back on their website as they are added.

In addition, the event press release reports that there will be "static ground displays, concessions, souvenir booths and exhibitors," as there have been in previous years.

Oh, and check out this incredible video of the Thunderbirds from inside one of the cockpits:

Feeling like Tom Cruise with a need for speed all of a sudden? Looks like it might be time to buzz the tower...

The Great State of Maine Air Show is August 3-4, 2024, at the Brunswick Executive Airport in Brunswick, Maine, and you can get tickets and more info at its website.
