Look Maine, we did it. Well, sort of. One of our favorite grocery stores in the whole entire world, Trader Joe’s, just hit the number 1 spot in the country!
I was checking out a brand-new report by Solitaired, which had their grocery store scientists crunch numbers and get this: almost 7 million Google reviews from shoppers in the Nation have given Trader Joe’s a 4.65 star rating! Wow!
Trader Joes Beats Out All Other Maine Grocery Stores as The Best
That puts this store at the top of the grocery store game baby!
Even ahead of Publix and Winco.

Other than having the most amazing, “Everything But The Bagel” seasons, or even the tiny sample cups, it’s the vibes. Trader Joes always feels like a friendly, cozy yet large, neighborhood market.
Even though it is a mega-chain, they’ve managed to not make it feel like one. And that, is a big win.

The Portland, Maine location is part of the reason why they made the list too! It's spacious and comfortable, the selection is broad but the atmosphere is local.
As per the report, the other grocery stores were rated 4 stars and under, yet Trader Joes turns up the heat with their budget friendly shopping at the number one spot.
