Ice cream is the one dessert that has stood the test of time. I don't think I have ever come across someone who doesn't like the taste of ice cream.

Here's a fun little fact for ya: ice cream has been around since the second century B.C. However, we don't know exactly when or who invented it. According to the International Dairy Foods Association, Alexander the Great liked snow and ice with honey and nectar flavors.

This enchanting dessert has been exciting taste buds for centuries, and I'm grateful for its existence.

There are currently over 1,000 flavors of ice cream, according to National Today. More and more are continuing to be created each year, and right now, we are welcoming a very traditional flavor in Maine.

Ladies and gentleman, because of Ben & Bills Chocolate Emporium in Bar Harbor, we can enjoy lobster-flavored ice cream!

Imagine a daring dance of flavors where the sea meets your mouth and the taste of lobster takes a twirl on your tongue.

Okay, I know I made that seem pretty elegant and poetic, but I have no idea what in the world sea-food flavored ice cream would taste like. Will it be salty? Buttery? Would it taste of seaweed and dairy?

Either way, I am so intrigued, and definitely have to try it.

Ben & Bills are a delicious stop and a must-try. They have so many delicious flavors, desserts, treats, and candies!

Outdoors posted a video YouTube trying this new creative ice cream flavor!

According to the Bill and Ben's website, Paul and Mary Trahan started their delicious  Chocolate Emporium back in 1956. They began with handmade candies and chocolates, which started the Trahan Candie's journey of growth into what they are today!

I love when local restaurants and bakeries challenge taste buds and risk amazing new and creative endeavors with their treats!!

So, what do you think? Would you like to try lobster-flavored ice cream?
