It appears that the most famous woman in the world made a stop in the state of Maine late Thursday night.  However, there was little chance that you would have encountered her.

According to WGME, pop superstar Taylor Swift's plane touched down at Bangor International Airport.  The article explains that her plane landed at about 11 PM on Thursday, and that she only spent about an hour in Maine.

The information reportedly came from the Taylor Swift's Jets Instagram account.  The account is dedicated to following the flight paths of the two jets that the singer often uses.

The star was on her way from London to Kansas City.  Her plane landed at Bangor International Airport in order to clear customs.  She had reportedly been in London for the premiere of Beyonce's Renaissance concert movie.

It appears that she was on her way to see her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Even though she has not been to Maine since becoming a massive star, she has visited the Pine Tree State before.

Back in 2010, her video for Mine was filmed in the picturesque coastal Maine town of Kennebunkport.  The WGME article explains that a Methodist church in the town was used as the main filming location for the video.  Taylor returned to Kennebunkport later that same year in order to premiere the video on CMT.

In March of 2023, the singer kicked off her The Eras Tour in Arizona.  For much of the spring and summer of 2023, Swift crisscrossed the United States, performing at nearly every stadium in the country.  After finishing up her year in Brazil, she'll kick off the 2024 tour dates in Japan in February.  So far, the tour has made over $780 million!
