Night Tubing Has Returned to This Maine Adventure Park
One of the best things about raising a family in Maine is the fact that we have cool outdoor activities in all four seasons.
In the spring we have biking, hiking, and ATVing. During the summer we have trips to the beach, swimming, and going to the park. Fall was made for backyard football games, checking out the foliage, and hunting. And, winter is literally loaded with activities.
Of course, we all know how important it is to keep our kids active all year long.
Encouraging children to be physically active year-round is vital for their overall health and development. Consistent physical activity not only boosts physical fitness but also promotes mental well-being, social skills, and a lifelong appreciation for staying active.
One of the best ways to keep your kids and teens active during the winter is by taking them tubing. Unlike skiing or snowboarding, there is nothing for them to learn. All they have to do is hop in the tube and zip down the hill.
There are dozens of great tubing spots in Maine, but if you want to turn the fun up to 11, take them tubing under the lights!
Seacoast Adventure Park in Windham, Maine
Located along Route 302 in Windham, Seacoast Adventure Park welcomes families and young adults with year-round activities.
During the warmer months, the park features mini golf, go-karts, a small water park, and more.
During the winter, the park offers some of the most spectacular snow tubing in all of New England, but the best part has to be that they are open on select nights.
When we say they have night tubing we're not just talking about taking runs down the hill under halogen lights. Nope! They turn the tubing hill into a nightclub! There's the perfect mix of upbeat music blasting from speakers and colorful dance club-style lights shining on the hill.
And, if you are 21 or older you can always take a break and have a beverage at the Deckhouse Pub.
How Much Does it Cost?
