Maine, New Hampshire, & Massachusetts Could See Thick Wildfire Smoke Thursday and Friday
If you have spent any time looking at the sky today you may have noticed that it looks a little hazy.
What's up with that? Is it the smoke from those wildfires?
Yes! And, it looks like it will get worse as the week goes on.
According to an article on the WGME website, parts of New England will see significant wildfire smoke on Thursday and Friday.
While the smoke is expected to make the sky look 'milky', and there may be a smell of wood smoke in the air, it is unlikely that the smoke will affect air quality.

With the exception of the smoke, and a slim chance of showers in some areas on Friday, the weather for the next few days is going to be great. Most of New England will see sunshine and temperatures in the low-80s through at least Monday.
The smoke is coming from wildfires in several western states, including Montana. It is slowly making its way east.
The Air Now website has a great map that shows the locations of fires, where the clouds of wildfire smoke are, and locations where there is an issue with air quality.
