One of the many things that we do really well in Maine is throw a party.

Yes, the rich people of New York and Los Angeles are known for their posh parties, but you have never partied until you've been to a rager in a gravel pit!  If you know, you know.

Since beer culture is huge in Maine it shouldn't be a surprise that many of our best parties involve craft brews.

Of course, these brewfests are about more than just drinking beer.  Each one also features amazing food options, lawn games, and music from some of the best local bands.

There are dozens of brewfests held throughout Maine each year.  Whether you live in Madawaska, Bangor, or Portland, you aren't far from a great brewfest.

Even though some of the major brewfests, like Portland on Tap, take place during the winter months, we are just now coming into prime brewfest season.  Some of the best festivals take place during the latter half of summer and early fall.

Are you having trouble deciding which brewfests to attend?  We want to help.  We've put together a list of some of the best, and most unique, brewfests in Maine.

The Best Summer & Fall Brewfests in Maine

Check out our list of great Maine brewfests.

One of the things we really love about brewfests is how different each one it.  For example, Snow Pond on Tap takes place at an amphitheater on the shores of Messalonskee Lake.

Another one of the brewfests on our list takes place inside a cornfield maze.  There's nothing like getting lost with a good beer.
