Maine State Police Investigating Death of Woman in Lewiston

According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, the Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman discovered at a home on Old Greene Road.

The press release explains that the Maine State Police responded to a death investigation at the home at about 5 AM on Monday, June 2nd.

The press release goes on to say:

The deceased was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Lewiston where an autopsy will be performed to determine cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing and there is no threat to the public. More information will be released when it becomes available.
