If you are a native New Englander, there is a good chance that you have spent hundreds (if not thousands) of hours driving in winter weather.

After a few winters of dealing with nasty weather, you know that all you need to do to get to your destination safely is slow down and try your best to stay in the tracks made by the vehicles that drove the road before you.  Of course, having a vehicle with all-wheel-drive and a good set of snow tires never hurt.

We are also lucky to have some amazing state and town plow crews, too.  These men and women are dedicated to making sure that the roads are cleared and sanded.

That being said, there are always some streets and roads that you want to try your best to avoid during a bad storm.  Sometimes, this is because they are less traveled roads and do not quite as much attention as the more frequently traveled roads.  In other cases, these roads have inclines and/or tight turns that make them more difficult to navigate.
