Justin Trudeau has a big favor to ask of Taylor Swift.

On Wednesday (July 5), the Canadian prime minister asked Swift to consider bringing her massive Eras Tour to Canada.

"I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon," Trudeau tweeted, referencing Swift's chart-climbing song "Cruel Summer."

Trudeau's request comes as Swift once again expands her Eras Tour trek around the world. The singer has added 14 dates to cities all across Europe, including stops in Warsaw, Vienna and more.

Paramore will be joining Swift on the European leg of her tour.

Swift has yet to respond to Trudeau as of publishing. However, Trudeau isn't the only world leader who has reached out to Swift asking her to make a tour stop in their country.

In June, Chile's President Gabriel Boric asked Swift to add a tour stop in his country.

In a video posted to YouTube, Boric revealed that he wrote Swift a letter asking her to consider performing in Chile.

"I wrote to her not too long ago. Let’s see if she responds, so that one day she can include us in her Latin America tour," Boric said.

"One day, she’ll listen to the Chilean Swifties and I have no doubt she’ll come to Chile. Hopefully sometime within the next three years," he added.
