It’s Time For Maine Restaurant Week!

Maine Restaurant Week is officially upon us!

If you've ever attended one of these events, you know how exciting they are. If you haven't you're in for a special treat.

The festivities kick off Wednesday morning, February 28th, with the Incredible Breakfast Cookoff, at Sea Dog Brewing Company in South Portland. It's the official kickoff of Restaurant Week, and a great way to give back to our community. 100% of ticket sales gets donated annually -- this year's beneficiary is the Preble Street Teen Center. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (if there are tickets still to sell that morning). Guests get to taste everything and then vote for their favorites.

There are many other terrific events happening as part of Restaurant Week. CRAVE takes place Sunday, March 4th at Coffee By Design, pairing their coffee with savory and sweet delights, coffee beers, and drinks. And SPIRIT QUEST is a journey that takes you down Congress St., through the Old Port, and through the Arts District, sampling the finest cocktails and paired bites the city has to offer.
