It Costs HOW MUCH To Raise A Teenager?!

Parenthood is pricey, that is a well known fact. But holy crap on a cracker when you attach a figure this large to it, it's down right frightening.

A recent survey has found that the average cost of raising a teenager today is around 37,000 big ones. YIKES! That breaks down to 6,000 dollars a year on things like:

Birthdays and Special Occasions

Food (and lots of it, they're still growing!)

Clothes

Phones

Car Related Costs

OY! Knowing this scary statistic, I may put off parenthood as long as possible. I've got my hands full with my turtle, Schlomo and working to keep food in his tank.
