It was a sad weekend, as the country learned of the passing of President George H.W. Bush, at the age of 94. Bush's home away from home was Maine, where he spent every summer of his life except for one. In the town of Kennebunkport, where the Bush's would spend their summers, there's a museum that you may not know about. The First Families Kennebunkport Museum, at White Columns, offers visitors a chance to tour an 1853 Greek Revival home and view exhibitions covering two centuries of Kennebunkport history, from sea captains to Presidents. In it, you'll find many fascinating artifacts, including many pictures and items that once belonged to the Bush family. With the passing of our nation's 41st president, now is a great time to visit the museum if you've never seen it. Get a sneak peek below, with pictures and video courtesy of our media partner, WMTW.
