HOM Listeners React To Proposed Ban On Pitbulls

In case you missed it, this morning's "You Tell Us" topic got some people pretty fired up.

We were talking about the City Councilor in Lowell, Massachusetts who is proposing a ban on pitbulls in that city, following the recent pitbull attack on a 7- year-old boy, which tragically led to his death.

On the phones, we had a hard time finding anyone to agree with a ban. In fact, every single call we took disagreed with it, with most people saying that it's not the breed of the dog... it's how the dog is raised.

Facebook reaction was a little different. While most people commenting also defended pitbulls, a few people voiced a different opinion:
