Here’s The Schedule For Carnaval ME In Portland

Bonhomme the Snowman from Carnaval de Quebec stopped by the HOM Studio yesterday morning to talk about this weekend's exciting event on the Eastern Prom in Portland, Maine. It's the first annual Carnaval ME to celebrate Maine's 200th anniversary.

Here is the schedule of events for both today and tomorrow, January 31st and February 1st, directly from Carnaval ME's website.:

11:00 AM - Gates open.

11:00 AM - 10:00 PM - DJs and live music.

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Family entertainment in the igloo. Visits from local mascots and caricature artists.

11:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Sunday River Ski demo area: "Never been on skis or a snowboard? Try on ski and snowboard gear with the guidance of Sunday River’s team."

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Live ice sculpture demo with sub zero ice carvings.

2:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Maine Beer Box open for general admission ticket holders.

3:00 PM - 4:45 PM - Rail Jam registration.

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Bites & Brews.

4:30 PM - 10:00 PM - Illumination of Eastern Promenade presented by Norway Savings Bank.
