Spring has finally sprung in Portland, which means some really great events in the city are starting to pop up. One of them is happening later this week, and it's all to support Maine veterans. The 8th annual "Toast On The Coast" is coming up this Thursday, May 9th. It's happening at Portland's Ocean Gateway on Commercial Street. This elegant food and wine lover's event will give you the opportunity to sample fine wines from around the world, and learn about pairings. Perhaps best of all, proceeds are going to help a great cause. Veterans Count Maine is an organization that helps provide critical and timely financial assistance when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.

Toast On The Coast will be hosted by WMTW’s Tracy Sabol, and will feature live music from Andrea Delan Unplugged.

I love food and wine, and I support helping Maine veterans, so this sounds like a great event. For more information, click below.
