Just like every other season here in Maine, the weather has no idea what it really wants to do in the fall.

Over the last week or two we've had torrential rain and wind storms, overnight frosts and days where we're all back to walking around in our t-shirts and shorts. However, that will all be changing again this weekend.

According to WGME Meteorologist, Matt Hoenig, another decent storm will move into Maine on Friday. With this storm will come a decent amount of potentially heavy rain and some gusty winds.

The rain will move into Southern Maine during the morning hours and progress across most of the state as the day goes on. Central Maine will see up to an inch of rain by the time the storm tapers away on Friday late afternoon.

As the day goes on, the wind gusts will increase, too. Central Mainers can expect gusts of up to 30-40 miles per hour. While this isn't necessarily 'wide-spread power outage' type wind, you should still be prepared just in case.

After a pretty nice day on Saturday with temps climbing into the 50s, there will be another burst of rain for parts of Maine including a very good possibility of mountain snow for a large swath of Western Maine.
