Every pet has a story of how they became a furry member of your family. Adding a pet to the family is a very memorable day, and the stories are in.

Asking people to share how they got their fur baby was easy! Sometimes, I think people have more photos of their pets on their phones than their kids! Some pets were rescued, some adopted, some are from other states, and some are still with us from childhood.

Some pets come to us with a name already picked out. Others were named by the family, and the best names come from when the kids get to pick the names. No matter the name of your pet, you probably call them something different.

Sure, Casco is this sweet girl's name, but I call her everything from Sparky to Doggy. Because our pets are our babies, we tend to sometimes do a little baby talk. I know you've probably been caught doing the whole, 'Who's a good dog? YOU'RE a good dog. Yes, you are! Yes, you are!'
