Guess Which New England State Drinks The Most Beer In The U.S.?

It's nice to be on top, but number one in the entire 50 states? That calls for a celebration. Or, is celebrating the reason New Hampshire is the champion of states that drink the most beer per capita in 2020? VinePair, a website all about "drinks and the experiences you have with a glass in hand," looked at research from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism to conclude that Americans guzzle more than six billion gallons of beer each year… billion with a capital ‘B.’ And the exact figure is 6.3 billion gallons of beer. That's a lot of belching.

Two other New England states also made the top ten list of beer-guzzling states for 2020: Vermont and Maine. Vermont is number three on the list, and Maine is lucky number seven.
