GLOW Jack O’ Lantern Woods Walk In Freeport: 3 NIGHTS ONLY
Unfortunately due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the world had to get super creative when planning and attending community events. Last year kicked off a new event here in Central Maine, and after having such a successful first year, it's coming back for 2021.
According to a Facebook event page made by Through The Trees, they are bringing back their jack-o-lantern woods walk, for 3 NIGHTS ONLY. The 2nd Annual GLOW Jack O' Lantern Woods Walk gets kicked off Friday, October 29th, and will run throughout the weekend, end on Halloween night.
What can you expect during the GLOW walk?
Guests will dress up in the funniest, scariest, spookiest, and prettiest costumes while they walk along a wooded trail that is lined with so many neatly carved pumpkins that are glowing. Jack-0-lanterns, galore. Now if you want to add a little spook into your Halloween or pre Halloween nights, there will also be a detour trail that leads you to the fright of your life.
Walks get started at 5:30 pm each night and they take roughly 35 to 45 minutes to complete. This is a limited event, so if you're planning on attending, you'll want to make sure you purchase your tickets soon. All proceeds raised from this 3-day long event will go to support the Youth Scholarship Fund at Through The Trees.
