Girlfriend of Harmony Montgomery’s Father Dies
The girlfriend of the father of missing Manchester girl Harmony Montgomery has died at the age of 27, according to police.
Harmony Montgomery is the 7-year-old girl who was last seen in Manchester in 2019, but her disappearance was not reported to Manchester Police until December 2021.
Court documents released in January showed that Adam Montgomery left his second wife, Kayla Montgomery, at some point in 2021.
Kayla told detectives she had not seen Adam since October 2021 because he moved into a sober house and then to Maine to live with his girlfriend, Kelsey Small. Investigators made contact with Adam on Dec, 31, 2021, who was sleeping with Small in a vehicle parked on Harvell Street in Manchester.
Small had dated Adam for over a year and told police that she was aware of his children with Kayla and another child but did not know Harmony was one of his children, according to court documents.
"Kind and sweet soul"
Manchester Police spokeswoman Heather Hamel told Seacoast Current that Small died in Manchester. Small's cause of death is still pending, but it does not appear suspicious. Hamel would not disclose Small's living arrangements except that she was living in Manchester at the time of her death.
Small's death was first reported by True Crime Sisters on their Twitter account, which said they had been asked to tweet the information.
"Her loved ones wish for her to be remembered for the kind and sweet soul that she embodied," read the tweet announcing her death.
Adam Montgomery remains in the Hillsborough County following his arrest in January on charges of second-degree assault interference with custody and endangering the welfare of a child.
Harmony Montgomery is described as approximately 4 feet and 50 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call a special number that is manned 24/7: 603-203-6060.
A reward of at least $137,000 is being offered for information leading to Harmony's whereabouts.
