We are beyond excited for Carnaval ME to begin! And we're getting close to GO TIME.  From February 17-26, Portland will host an amazing, world-class winter festival. Live music, the Bites & Brews igloo, ice sculptures, illumination art, the Rail Jam with Sunday River, and now FIREWORKS. This awesome addition to Carnaval ME will help kick off the event on February 17th. Be there at 7 pm and then stay for a live concert from Maine's own Ghost of Paul Revere. Carnaval ME announced the good news this week.

Yup, fireworks on Portland's Eastern Prom...in the winter! We know how awesome the fireworks show is on the Prom on the 4th of July, but Carnaval is going BIG this year. The live music lineup alone is off the charts and reason to go. From the Ghost of Paul Revere to country star Scotty McCreery, to local funkmaster faves Motor Booty Affair, and everything in between! Hang out in the giant igloo (yea, Portland has an igloo now, thanks to Carnaval) for great food and drink.

Check out the fireworks show from the 4th of July this past July.

Be part of one of the coolest (literally!) winter events in Maine. Carnaval ME is poised to become of the premier winter festivals in North America. It makes sense, right? With all the great things that make Portland a fantastic city and Maine a place to ALL seasons, we SHOULD have a top-notch winter festival that attracts locals and visitors from all over.  See you for the fireworks at Carnaval ME on the 17th!
