Since I was young, I have always loved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Since then, I've been convinced the ultimate dream would be diving straight into a chocolate river, just like the one in the movie.

Sweetest gulp imaginable.

That scene made so many of us fall utterly in love with chocolate.

So, if you are a lover of chocolate too, Freeport is about to feel like the real life chocolate factory. It's the Fifth Annual Freeport Chocolate Festival and it's happening at the Freeport Village Station on March 7th from 10:00am -4:00pm.

Downtown will be transformed into a cocoa-lovers dream event.

Freeport’s Sweetest Day of the Year Is Almost Here

It's hosted by the Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce and will be deliciously fun. Think rich truffle, decadent baked goods, confections to die for, and sweet surprised around every corner.

The lineup of local vendors and chocolatiers attending is nothing short of confection perfection and include as per Eventbrite are, The Art of Cake Studio, BC Sweets, Crape Elizabeth, Dean’s Sweets, Grounded Confections, La Nef Chocolate, The Macaron Mint, Maine Needham Company, Oasis Dessert Bar, The Sweet Life Kettle Corn Company, What!
