For Sale: A Replica Of That Weinermobile That Was Just In Maine

Did you happen to see the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile in Maine a few weeks ago? I got lucky...I had totally forgotten that it was going to be in town, but I went to WalMart to grab a few things, and there it was. I don't know who was more impressed, me or my daughters!

I was thinking about how cool it would be to own one of these. Then today, look what I stumbled upon on Craigslist...it's a Weinermobile replica!!

The ad describes the replica as working and running wonderfully. It has apparently won several shows and many awards. But it sounds like the owner experienced a bit of buyer's remorse shortly after purchasing the vehicle:

The Weinermobile as a daily driver was a novelty and enjoyable for about a week. Now I suffer.

The asking price of $7,000 seems like a heck of a deal for this majestic vehicle. Unfortunately, there are only a couple of pictures in the ad, none of the interior. I wonder what the inside looks like? It appears to be very roomy. Could you actually throw parties in there? Or maybe even live in it? As tempting as it may sound, because of the fact that the seller is in California, I think I'm gonna have to pass on this one.
