...and the hits just keep on coming.

2020 sure doesn't seem like it wants us to have any fun.

The latest shark sightings have caused the closure of five beaches in Cape Cod  Thursday morning.

According to Masslive.com, Coast Guard Beach and Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro, Cahoon Hollow Beach and White Crest Beach in Wellfleet and Nauset Public Beach in Orleans were all closed after reports of sharks.

Massachusetts State Police also posted video of two great white sharks in the vicinity of swimmers to their Facebook page:

Chio said it the other day and I have to say that I'm in agreement with him.  Give me a lake any day, or maybe just a nice in ground pool.

It seems like every day there is another shark sighting, or worse yet, a fatality.

A New York woman was killed, according to NPR, in Maine's first fatal shark attack ever just last week.

So, if you were planning a Cape Cod getaway, maybe look into a hotel with a nice pool attached.

I plan on avoiding the water together and just watching Shark Week instead on Discovery which starts this Sunday!
