Feeling Patriotic? This Maine Veteran’s New Brewery Is Opening on Veterans Day
Years in the making, this Marine, Brad Nadeau, who proudly served from 1999-2003, wanted to open his own military-themed brewery, according to an article by the Press Herald.
The article stated that with help from Kickstarter and the U.S. Small Business Administration, he and his wife, Nancy, brewed-up a plan for success.
Stars and Stripes Brewing Co is located at 8 Varney Rd. in Freeport and their first day open to the public is on Veterans Day: Sunday, November 11th from Noon to 6pm, according to their website.
The Nadeaus hope to create a family friendly environment, including a kids space with games, just as the PH article stated.
They also hope to give back by planning events with veteran organizations where some of their proceeds will be donated to that cause, the newspaper reported.
You can check out a line-up of their original brews direct from their website that'll make you thirsty!
