Fans React to Popular Chinese Restaurant in Sanford, Maine That is Closing For Good

People in the Sanford area are learning the sad news today about their favorite Chinese restaurant. Green Tea Restaurant on Main Street in Sanford posted a message on Facebook Wednesday that they will be closing their doors permanently after over a decade in business.

In an additional post with the photo the owners passed along this message:

"To all our valued customers, We will be closing our restaurant for good on July 30th, 2022. We will also be closed next Tuesday due to staff shortage. Please take the chance to use your gift cards before we close our doors. We will be donating what we make the last couple of days to local charities for supporting our business for the past years in town!

Sincerely, Tommy and Tina"

At the time of this writing, there were 300 comments from fans of Green Tea. Some wondering why such an abrupt closing in just 10 days from the announcement, but others offering the owners well wishes after having to make the difficult decision to close, no matter the reason.
