Teachers at Canal View Elementary School wanted to see their students, so they decided to hold a parade, according to WGME. The elementary school in Westbrook, Maine has been closed for more than two weeks, due to coronavirus concerns.

On Friday, March 27th, 2020, teachers and other staff members from Canal View Elementary School got together to parade down the streets of the students' houses, as per WGME. The kids and their parents were respectful of social distance rules; thus, they stood outside their homes and watched as the teachers drove by in their cars and waved at the children. All in all, it seemed like a fun day for everyone.

WGME says the Westbrook fire and police departments were also involved in organizing the parade.
