The last time I was at Dover Bowl, it was before the pandemic and I pulled in with my killer 2009 Honda Civic. I felt cool. I felt like I was a somebody. (I'm kidding).

But clearly, my top-notch ride pales in comparison to the vehicle that someone took to Dover Bowl last weekend -- a helicopter.

No, you're not crazy. Yes, you read that right. SOMEONE TOOK A HELICOPTER TO DOVER BOWL OVER THE WEEKEND. AND LANDED IN THE PARKING LOT. A HELICOPTER. DOVER BOWL.

2020 is a wild time to be alive, y'all.

In all seriousness, Shawn Rogers posted pictures of the chopper in the Dover Bowl parking lot last weekend. According to some of the detectives in the (un)Official City of Dover Facebook group did some digging, and discovered that the helicopter belongs to Dick Anagnost, who according to commenters on the post is either a partial or majority owner of Dover Bowl (I always thought it was owned by Mark Bowen, but -- and I know this is crazy -- I've been known to be wrong before.)

Can you imagine having your own helicopter? One of my friends in radio has his pilot's license and every now and then he'll post pictures flying over Fenway, Gillette Stadium, Cape Cod, downtown Boston -- I'd have a FIELD DAY with that! (Or hyperventiliate at the fact I was flying a plane while trying to take pictures of the coastline or the Hampton Beach strip or Hadlock Field or something.

One of the post's commenters, Jenn Richardson, figured out an important aspect of life, though.

I'm doing it wrong. Next car: Helicopter.

Same. Who wants to lend me some money? There's free helicopter rides in it for you.
