I had no idea...

A friend told me that the Burger King tucked away in a corner of a mini-mall in Gorham has an indoor playground. I went there one afternoon because I thought, I gotta see this for myself. I had never been to the Gorham Burger King. It's a definite step back in time with the bubble windows and the super old-school feel. Granted that's what BK is going for these days, but I feel like Gorham didn't have to try that hard.

When I got there I thought,

My friend is nuts. There's NO playground here. I knew it. If Burger King had a free playground people would be talking about it.

So before I ordered some food and left, I went down this hallway just for the hell of it. And there it was. A separate area, all glassed in with a door to keep the little ones in...a little playground!

How cute is this? And not a soul was in this little room that had a couple of tables and chairs for parents to wait until their kids got their food whirlies out.

It was like a tiny little Joker's tucked away in the Gorham Burger King. I asked the manager if any other Burger King had a playground. She said that the one in Sanford used to, but they closed. Wow - did people know about this?

I was sad that it was empty. What kid wouldn't love plowing through this jungle gym after plowing through a Whopper with fries?

So mom and dad, next time you are in the Gorham area and little Johnny or little Jane are driving you crazy, stop and get some fries and a Coke and relax. Scroll through Instagram or TikTok while they run around in a clean, safe little free playground. All thanks to your Gorham Burger King.
