Before we dive into this amazing Maine family who proved that some of the funniest moments really do happen here, I have to share a personal America’s Funniest Home Videos memory.

Way back in the ’90s, my younger brother Christian had this move where he’d shake his arms so fast they looked like floppy spaghetti. My mom sent in a VHS tape, yes, a real videotape, and he actually ended up being featured on AFV!

We didn’t take home any prizes, but this incredible Maine family sure did!

According to WMTW, a family from Cornish, Maine, just won second place on  America’s Funniest Home Videos, and this is all because of a totally relatable bedtime moment they caught on their baby monitor.

Thanks to a hilariously relatable bedtime moment caught on their baby monitor.

Watch below, via WMTW-TV YouTube.

Lianne and Dana Staples submitted a black and white video showing their daughters, Caroline and Everly, right after tucking them in for the night.

In the video, Everly is crying in her crib, again, after throwing her pacifier onto the floor.

And big sis, Caroline had officially reached her limit. She sat up in bed and delivers a calm but very brutally honest lecture other baby sister that every single tired parent felt deep.

She told Everly, to stop crying, grab her binky, and handle the situation herself, because Caroline was over listening to her cry every night. Honestly? Iconic.

Mom, Lianne was so excited after it aired, she shared it online, in case anyone missed it!

The clip immediately caught the attention of the producers of the show and before they realized, the Staples family was invited to be on the show. Watching is air was a huge moment for the family, especially for Caroline, who said it was “really exciting.”

Now, the two sisters have their own bedrooms, but Caroline admitted she still prefers sleeping with Everly. They ended up winning $6,000 and plans to go on a tropical vacation!

Congratulation to the Staples family!
