Coast Guard Rescues Kayaker In Kittery

The accident happened near Wood Island

Seacoastonline reports that the Coast Guard has rescued a kayaker at some point, just after noontime today.

The incident happened during a routine patrol by the Coast Guard's 47-foot boat in the Piscataqua River.

One man was pulled from the water and treated for hypothermia. He was later transported to a local hospital, and his condition has not been released.
