300 tips have been submitted and a reward of over $100,000 is on the table, but 7-year-old Harmony Montgomery remains missing according to Manchester Police.

Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said all the tips are being vetted and taken seriously, and asked for more information to be reported to a special tipline manned 24/7 at 603-203-6060.

"Some of them are extreme, I think you know what I'm getting at, but that's what detectives have to do. They have to screen every single one out no matter how extreme we may think it is at first glance, but let's vet it out and determine if it a viable tip," Aldenberg said.

A Growing Reward

How much is enough of a reward to convince someone to call? The chief didn't know, but hoped money would be a motivator.

"Somebody out there knows something. Whatever strikes at someone's conscience as a human being to step forward and do the right thing is what we're going to keep trying to do," Aldenberg said.

The chief did not have any new details about the investigation and would not disclose its next step. When asked if his officers were discouraged, he said they were "determined" to solve the case.

"I'm a little discouraged, but I remain determined to find little Harmony," Aldenberg said. He still believes she is still alive.

Aldenberg would not comment on any potential mistakes made by DCYF about how they handled the custody case of Harmony Montgomery. Gov. Chris Sununu at his COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday said he has ordered an investigation into the agency's handling of the girl who was last seen in 2019.

"Any time there's a critical case of a child, regardless of who the child is, we always do an internal review. I've instructed DCYF to already start that process," Sununu said. "Was there any point where information wasn't being transmitted? Was there any point where we hit a roadblock or didn't respond to something?"

Montgomery is described as approximately 4 feet and 50 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses. She is blind in her right eye.
