Charlie Puth New England Ties

If you're a fan of Charlie Puth, you know he has New England ties because of his time as a student at Berklee College of Music.

That's pretty much been common knowledge since he had his first breakthrough smash back in 2015 with See You Again, a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa that was played during the ending of the movie Furious 7 as a bit of a tribute to Paul Walker.

Charlie Puth Maine Music Camp

What's not as commonly known as Charlie attending college at Berklee, is the fact that Berklee wasn't the only New England exposure he had to music. Charlie actually has Maine ties to music, attending New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine about 10 years ago.

(Fun fact, in a recent Zoom interview, Charlie mentioned that other than attending music camp, one of the things he remembers most about Maine is the fact that there are a ton of speed traps on the way to Sidney. He's not wrong.)

Charlie Puth NH Concert

Part of the reason that Charlie hopped on that recent Zoom interview mentioned above is that he's coming back to New England this summer for a couple of different shows as part of his "The 'Charlie' Live Experience" tour.

He'll be performing at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire on Wednesday, June 7.

Charlie Puth Boston vs Maine

Between the New Hampshire date coming up this summer plus having ties to both Boston and Maine, Charlie ended up competing in a Boston vs Maine version of "This or That," which put locations, sports teams, desserts, and more from both Boston and Maine head-to-head.

Well, after a couple quick warmup questions involving the Scandoval from Vanderpump Rules and whether he prefers binging The Circle or Love is Blind on Netflix, anyway.

Charlie Puth New Song

As a bonus, if you're looking for the full Zoom interview, which includes Charlie talking about his brand new song with Dan & Shay called That's Not How This Works, whether or not some of his 2020 music will be officially released, and his response to some comments from THAT teaser video with Sabrina Carpenter, enjoy it below!
