Dozens of Celebrities Flooded Boston for the Celtics NBA Finals Game Last Night
Celtics/Warriors Game 3
Game 3 of the NBA Finals went down last night between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors here in New England at TD Garden. It's no shock when games of this magnitude are in California -- be it the Lakers, the Clippers, or the Warriors -- that A-list celebrities will be in the stands.
It's also pretty common sense that important playoff or championship series games that happen locally, whether it's the Pats, Sox, or obviously the Celtics, also see their fair share of superstars in the audience, but that's more so fellow local current and former athletes.
Dozens of celebrities were at TD Garden in Boston last night
Last night was a combination of the two, as current members and coaches from the New England Patriots, as well as Hollywood celebrities, were seen in the crowd last night to watch the Celtics take a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals against the Warriors.
Former Celtics legends were in attendance
Multiple times throughout home playoff games, Celtics Hall of Famer Paul Pierce was seen on the court before the game as well as sitting courtside during.
Another former Celtics champion and Hall of Famer, Bill Walton, was not only seen in the stands, but also seen on the Orange Line of the MBTA before the game making his way to the Garden.
Aside from Paul and Bill, other former Celtics players seen inside the Garden, according to Channel 5 Boston, were Antoine Walker, Charlie Scott, ML Carr, Leon Powe, Dana Barros, and Eddie House.
Members of the New England Patriots were also in the building
No shock to see members of the Pats supporting the C's, especially since after the Celtics eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks, there was that epic video of Mac Jones greeting Jayson Tatum. But in attendance for Game 3 last night from the Pats? James White, Dont'a Hightower, Damien Harris, and more, including head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft.
A-lister and girlfriend of Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, Nia Long, was sitting courtside as well supporting her man and her man's team.
And after hosting a surprise pop-up at his Boston restaurant earlier in the afternoon, celebrity chef Guy Fieri and his son Ryder were seen sitting courtside as well.
And finally, who came home to watch his hometown Celtics win their Game 3 matchup against the Warriors, all while sitting next to known Warriors fans Guy and Ryder Fieri? None other than the face of Barstool Sports -- "El Presidente" Dave Portnoy.
Who will we see courtside for Game 4 in Boston? We'll find out this Friday night! Go C's!
