Casting Call For Adam Sandler Movie Being Filmed In New England
Calling all aspiring actors…
We love to claim Adam Sandler as a New Hampshire boy since he was raised in Manchester, even though he was born in Brooklyn, New York. Then, he moved to Boston when he was 17 to do stand-up comedy, according to IMDb. He seems to like New England since more than a few of his movies have been shot at North Shore locations as per the Patch.
Adam Sandler's production company, Happy Madison, is holding an open casting call this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the Patch. It's happening at the Marblehead Community Center at 10 Humphrey Street in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Movie producers are reportedly looking for people of all shapes and sizes between the ages of 5 and 95. They suggest that you wear an original Halloween costume for your audition.
The movie already has a title -- "Hubie Halloween." The Patch reports that the Halloween-themed murder mystery is being filmed in Danvers and other North Shore locations this summer.
If you are unable to attend the casting call, you are welcome to send a current picture, along with a description of yourself and your car to halloweenextras@gmail.com.
