Breathtaking Photos in Rangeley, Maine Show the Faint Appearance of the Northern Lights

The conditions for an appearance by the Northern Lights over the skies of Maine were predicted to be good, but unless you had patience and were in a very dark area of Maine, you probably didn't see much.

These photos that Dave Perlman of Auburn took at Height of Land in Rangeley show that in the right place and lots of patience waiting through the night, that you can capture some amazing photos of the night sky including an ever so faint glimpse of the Northern Lights.
