Three organizations are coming together to help Maine's homeless veterans, struggling Maine families and assure no Maine pets go hungry with an amazing online auction! It all starts March 1 through March 10.

There are over 160 items so far, and could end up with well over 200 before they're done! You don't want to miss this! There are dozens of gift cards, tickets to Funtown and Storyland, an annual membership to Better Fit Fitness Center, $500 in GC from "Cuttin Above Barber Co.", a free stay at a Maine Yurt, two punch passes to "The Movement Lab Collective", several photography sessions by various Maine photographers, works by many New England Artists and more! It’s a can’t-miss event!

It Takes a Village 207 (ITAV207) is a division of the nonprofit organization "Maine Homeless Veterans Alliance" (MHVA). A community outreach program; Maine neighbors helping Maine neighbors with life’s challenges. They Provide resources for at-risk veterans, and families struggling with financial hardship, homelessness, food insecurity, substance abuse, domestic violence, and more. They raise money for families who need things such as home appliances, heat, home repairs, school supplies & more. They also have a large annual Christmas assistance program where in the last 2 years have provided assistance to over 400 Maine children.

Maine Homeless Veterans Alliance (MHVA) does not receive federal or state funding and relies solely on community donations. MHVA is making a difference one homeless or distressed veteran at a time with outreach and a hand up. Ensuring a better tomorrow for every Veteran they cross paths with during their mission to find shelter for our Veterans. Once a Maine Veteran is housed, MHVA furnishes their new home including a brand new bed for each Veteran. MHVA also has volunteers who bring essentials to the homeless population in Maine every week.

There is also this great organization No Bowl Empty 2 Pet food Pantry. This organization run by Nadine Malloy in Waterboro helps struggling Mainers with pet food, currently feeding over 2000 Maine pets!
