Augusta Culinary Arts Teacher On ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

Heidi Parent is the new culinary arts teacher at the Capital Area Technical Center, but if all goes well, she might not be there for very long. Heidi is on the new season of 'Hell's Kitchen' with Chef Gordon Ramsey, the season premieres on Friday, September 23rd on FOX.

Parent is one of eighteen contestants on the show that are trying to win a one-year contract offer for $250,000 to the head chef of a restaurant at The Venetian Las Vegas.

Parent can't say how she did on the show, but she told the Kennebec Journal, 'I don’t regret doing it, but I would never do it again, it was a lot of time away, and it was really stressful.'
