Audiobook Narrator Demonstrates New Hampshire Accent, Absolutely Nails It
This guy really did his homework on Granite State dialect!
I've always thought it would be fun to be an audiobook narrator. Get paid to sit around and read a book into a microphone? Where do I sign up?
Well it turns out it's not nearly that easy. And as audiobook author Matt Haynes demonstrates in a YouTube video, it takes a lot of research to nail a particular accent.
Here, he shows us the New Hampshire accent. Now obviously not everyone from New Hampshire speaks this way. You're more likely to hear this particular nuance from older folks that have lived in the state for many years.
I found it to be quite interesting!
