WATCH: Young Moose Seen Running Through Streets of Auburn, Maine

It's not every day that you are lucky enough to see a moose. These very elusive creatures don't often show themselves, but when they do get spotted running through the city of Auburn, they get noticed!

Young Moose on the Loose

The Auburn, Maine, Police Department shared a video on the Facebook page that was sent to them of a young moose running through the intersection of Union and Center Street in Auburn. We've got a map above, but if you are familiar with the Auburn area, you know this intersection well. There's a Circle K gas station near this intersection.

Moose Stops to Get Gas?

The video shows the young moose running over a grassy spot with a large tree and into the Circle K parking lot. According to the Auburn Police, he was last seen swimming away in the nearby Androscoggin River.

For clarification purposes, this is not the moose that was spotted in Auburn, but it seems like it may be close in age to it.
