Are You Sailing on Nova Star’s Maiden Voyage?

The Nova Star is scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage from Portland to Nova Scotia on Thursday and if you one of those who will be making the trip, we would love to see your photos and videos and hear all about it.

With 162 luxury cabins and the capacity to hold 336 vehicles, the Nova Star allows its passengers to travel in comfort overnight to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The vessel also features a gambling casino, fine dining, a spa and theater.Thursday's maiden voyage will also mark the first time since 2009 that ferry service has been provided between Portland and the Canadian Maritime province. The Bangor Daily News reported the Nova Star first arrived in Portland on April 17.
