Alanis Morissette Updated The Lyrics to “Ironic” And They’re Amazing

Alanis visited the Late Late Show with James Corden recently and together they sang "Ironic" with updated more "modern" lyrics. The result is hilarious!

I remember rocking out to "Ironic" on my radio headphones as I delivered papers on my paper route. At the time I didn't realize the ironies wren't actually ironic, but I liked the song anyway.

Then I saw the video of Alanis on the Late Late Show and I loved it even more! There are some pretty spectacular gems in this newest update, including a reference Snapchat, Uber and to how the song isn't really ironic.

Here are a few of my favorite moments:

It's like swiping left...

It's a Snapchat...

It's a traffic jam...

A no smoking sign...

 And isn't it ironic...

But the best moment might have been at the end when Jame Corden does his Alanis Morissette impression. Give it a watch, you won't be disappointed!
