AJ Found Audio Of His First Time On The Radio. Listen Here
Well this is rather embarrassing. I recently moved, and I was unpacking boxes, when I stumbled upon something that I thought was long gone - a cassette tape with audio of the first time I was ever on the radio. It was July 23rd, 2000, at News/Talk station WKXL in Concord, New Hampshire. I had recently been hired there to run the board for Red Sox games, and read the news on the air following the game. Although it was about 11:30 at night, and there were probably about 3 people listening, I still couldn't believe that my dream was about to come true - I was about to go on the radio for the very first time. I remember being so nervous! After finding the cassette, it was quite the challenge to find a cassette player, and then hook it up to a computer, so that I could transfer it to a digital file. But I did it, and shared it with the world on the HOM Morning Show today. I think it's awful, but Nikki said it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be! In case you missed it, here's us listening to it, and having some fun at my expense.
