The 2019 New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off happened recently, and the pumpkin that won is heavier than many cars.

It tipped the scales at 2,294.5 pounds, making a new record for this contest, according to UPI via Breitbart News. That's lot of pumpkin pie.

The monster pumpkin was grown by Alex Noel, who is from Connecticut.

As big as it is, UPI reports that the pumpkin did not break the world record. That honor belongs to a Belgian man by the name of Mathias Willemijns. His pumpkin weighed an incredible 2,624.6 pounds.

The New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off is an annual event at the Topsfield Fair.

Noel's plans for his enormous pumpkin are unclear. Perhaps, he'll donate it to a modern-day Cinderella.

It is as big as a vehicle, after all.
