A Dunkin’ Donuts employee from Manchester, New Hampshire was at work when she saved a man's life earlier this year, according to Inspire More. 24-year-old April Merchant was in the middle of a shift on February 13th, when truck driver David Wood had a heart attack outside of the Dunkin' store in Candia where she worked. Merchant knew exactly what to do, because of a CPR class she had taken in college. She reportedly performed CPR, and was able to revive the 29-year-old father of three.

Wood was taken to a hospital, where his doctors said he would probably not be alive if Merchant had not been there, as per the Inspire More news report. Merchant is described as a humble yet brave person, who does not think she is a hero.
