A Big Change At The Top Of The List Of Most Popular Beers In America

Budweiser, who once dominated in American beer sales, has dropped from the top 3 most popular beers.

According to CNN, Budweiser had been number one until 2001, when it was knocked out of that spot by Bud Light. Coors Light moved up to second place in 2011, and in 2017 Miller Lite took over third place, putting Budweiser at fourth.

Other beers on the list include Corona Extra (5th), Michelob Ultra (6th), and Modelo Especial (7th).

The rising popularity of craft beers has put a lot of pressure on the global brewers, likely contributing to their falling sales.
