If Friday the 13th is an unlucky day, then today should be fortuitous because it is Friday the 7th. Indeed, it is a very lucky day for beer lovers who live in one of the eight Maine towns that are named after countries. Why, you ask?

It's "International Beer Day," and Miller Lite wants to celebrate by giving away free beer to 110 cities in the U.S. that have the same name as a country overseas. Eight of those towns happen to be in the Pine Tree State, so this is a huge score for Mainers. Yes, we know… There are more than eight places in Maine that share their names with countries; and if cities had been included in this promotion, we would get ALL the beer.

Residents, 21 and older, who live in one of the towns below must purchase a 6-pack of Miller Lite (bottles or cans) today. Click here to read the rest of the rules.
