Maine's best high school football seniors from last fall have gathered in Dover-Foxcroft for the 27th Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic training camp.

This is the second year that Foxcroft Academy has been host site for training camp.

Players from all over the state reported to camp yesterday and will spend the week practicing for Saturday's North vs South allstar game in Biddeford.

The big winner are the Shrine Hospitals for Children throughout North America. Thousands of dollars has been raised over the years.

Some of the players representing the North Region include Bangor RB Dane Johnson, Old Town QB Jake Jarvais and WR Andre Miller, Foxcorft WR Hunter Smith, Brewer RB Dylan Severance.

The South Region won last year's Shrine Lobster Bowl 45-21.

NOTE:  Foxcorft Academy AD Tim White joins the Morning Pitch at 7:35am this morning to give the scene-setter for the training camp.
