15 Ridiculous Myths About New Hampshire That People From Other States Believe

Every state comes with its long list of stereotypes. Everyone from California is rich and tan. Everyone from Massachusetts drives like a lunatic. Everyone from Kentucky marries their siblings! Wait, what?! When it comes down to it, it's amazing how little we know about each other's states.

When I was visiting California, a Los Angeles local asked me if I had any neighbors in New Hampshire. She assumed I lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere in a town with a population of 10. I told her my only companions were a cow and a moose.

Though some areas of New Hampshire are more on the rural side, we have our fair share of locals who love to hit up their killer restaurants, pubs, entertainment venues, and festivals, myself included!

I thought it might be time to set the record straight, and debunk the many myths that surround New Hampshire and its residents.
